Monterey Bay Aquarium

While this aquarium is relatively small and lacks some of the eye-catching exhibits of the Atlanta aquarium (Whale Sharks & Belugas), for instance, it is perched right on the cliffs of Cannery Row and has several very cool exhibits such as the Jelly Fish, the Sea Otters and the Kelp Forest. I’d also highly recommend going to the “Open Seas” exhibit at feeding time as you can watch all the Dolphin Fish, Yellow Fin Tuna, Hammerhead Sharks and even the Sardines get fed. Lastly, set up the real-time text alert option so you’ll get told when there are Humpback Whale and Dolphin sightings from the outdoor decks!
